The father-in-law passed away yesterday.
He has been very ill for over a year and very very ill for the last month. So it wasn't unexpected or even, in some ways, unwelcome. There are blessings to be found in the fact that he is finally at peace.
He will be missed.

All my thoughts go with you and your family. We've had our share of grief too as my brother in law died of a car accident last week...Makes you realize how unexpected life can be and how we shouldn'g take our loved ones for granted...
