Vacation is over so it was back to work today. I'm a wee bit tired from all the going going going from last week though - I think I'm ready for some 'structure' to the day again. lol

I got a ton of new squares done for the sock yarn Scrap Blanket of DOOM  - I'll have to take some pictures of them (if the sun ever comes back). I gathered together all my little bits and pieces of yarn leftovers and put them into a huge knitting bag so I can easily pick out what colors I feel like knitting that particular day. I pretty much have every color under the rainbow except for purple. Only a couple of bits in those. Which is ODD because that is my favorite color?!?@?@ I think it can be hard to find pretty purples in sock yarn though - you get it mixed with blues or mixed with magentas but you hardly ever see a mix of *just* purples. Must have something to do with the way it is dyed, I guess?

Just to prove I wasn't crazy thinking this, I used The Loopy Ewe's color tool to search for yarn under the 'violet' heading and this is what you get:

 

How many are *just* a mix of purples? Only a handful. Of course, the handful that *is* there I want to buy immediately because OMGPURPLESSSS.
