I just realized I forgot to put out the ONE St. Patty's Day stitchy that I have.
It had ONE chance to be properly displayed and I blew it. *cry*
AND I'M IRISH. LIKE, FOR REALSIES.
Oh well. I did manage to remember to do the whole corned beef, cabbage and colcannon thing. (YUM.)

Hey it's green and it is the green time of year - I think it can be displayed until the equinox anyway!
ReplyDeleteI concur with Beth! You are truly Irish ~ well that lasts 365 ~ 24/7......
ReplyDeleteKeep your sweet little piece out for a bit. Why not? ;)
ReplyDeleteTime is just a man-made construct. The same way everyone is Irish on St. Paddy's day, everyone can celebrate St. Paddy's Day when you display your cute finish!
ReplyDeleteI only managed to get my house re-decorated from Snowmen to St. Patricks's day and spring on Saturday, and I don't think it is going to change anytime soon! BTW--what is colcannon? I did corned beef, cabbage, red taters and Irish Soda bread, but colcannon??? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteClose enough. I still feel like St. Patrick's Day hasn't happened yet. lol! Looks great!
ReplyDeleteYou get ya a big basket and start filling it with "past holidays" --- put it in a place of mid-importance. Then your stuffies can be visible all year. The current ones get a place of prominence. The past go in the basket.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I like Dee's idea - year round display! You'd never be late, always early! ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, and that is such a cute one, too, Melanie!! I would sit it out on your windowsill all year for good luck :)
ReplyDeleteHappy first day of Spring!!
It's a beauty, lovely to see it.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that's too funny Melanie! Better luck next year :-) Lovely finish though.
ReplyDeleteLOL...I realized when we'd already left the house on Sunday that I had shamrock earrings and forgot to put them on. At least you can leave that cute little pillow out for a few more days without anyone looking at you sideways. Imagine if I wore my bright green earrings to work!!
ReplyDeleteLovely pillow finish, I think you could be forgiven for keeping it out a little past St Paddy's :-)
ReplyDeleteI somehow missed out on the corned beef/cabbage thing this year. Of course, it's not like I have to do it on St Patrick's day only! lol
ReplyDeleteLove the shamrock pillow. Very nice. Hope you hand feels as good as new soon.
Awww, it is lovely!
